I am looking forward to our exciting field trip on Wednesday, aren’t you? I know your sweet child cannot wait to head to the arboretum.
A few reminders and tips…
1. If you signed up to send a lunch for your child, please make sure all components of the lunch are disposable! If you cannot remember if you signed up to send a lunch in, please let me know and I will check my list!
2. We will go on the field trip despite the weather so make sure to have your child wear a jacket and shoes that are appropriate for the pumpkin patch. It might be muddy so closed-toes shoes or boots are best. It might be a good idea to send an extra pair of shoes in a plastic sack in your child’s backpack that day just in case their shoes get extra muddy so once we get back to school they can change their shoes!
3. Thank you (in advance) to all of you who volunteered to attend the field trip! I sent home an information packet last week with a map to the arboretum, information on the arboretum and our day. You will be free to explore with your group until our meeting time for our presentation by the Arboretum. After our presentation, you can continue to explore and have a picnic lunch whenever your group is hungry before we head back to school.
This will be a great day of learning for your child!
